  • Radical Records
  • Radical Records started somewhere around early 90's by club/concert promoter Keith Masco. This NYC indie label's sole purpose was to give new local bands exposure. In 94 came the first release by the label called Oi!/Skampilation Vol.1 (First of 3 volumes) It was basically a recording of a local Oi!, Punk and Ska show.

Now Radical records has 10 bands on its roster with diverse styles like, Oi!, Ska, Punk and Hardcore and has spread throughout USA; even adding Road Rage from UK. Not bad for this newly found label.

The review is on their record sampler, all the cool labels do it, so why can't they?

This compilation features 9 out of 10 bands doing 2-3 songs each from their releases on Radical Records, so if you don't like one song from a certain band, you can get another opinion with a different song; however, the bands on this compilation are so good that after listening to one song, any punk enthusiast, will fall in love with the bands. Kudos to Radical records for putting out such a great compilation.

Now that you got the CD and know a little bit about each band (at least 2 songs) go out and get their CDs (they're listed next to the song titles) and support this wonderful label. You 'll be sorry if you don't!
